How do I reconcile two files?

Add a file or pasted table to each side, select a worksheet if prompted, choose the shared and validation columns, and click Reconcile. GoValidate then shows missing rows and mismatched values in your browser.

What are the shared column and validation column?

The shared column identifies the same record in both files, such as account ID or SKU. The validation column is the field whose values you want to compare, such as balance or status.

Does the reconciler upload my files?

No. Comparison runs in your browser. File contents are not sent to GoValidate servers for reconciliation.

How do I export the reconciliation results?

After Reconcile finishes, review the comparison in the results pane and click Download CSV to export the reconciliation output.
